Jake and I took a trip to the zoo yesterday, mostly to check-up on all our favorite animals, but also so Jake could use his new camera. (I think he loves that thing more than life itself!) The albino alligator was still there, which was neat because he was awake this time. The baby orangutan, Eve, was still as cute as ever. And we were happy to see the baby giraffe that was born in November. We caught the elephant show this time, starring Dari, who just happens to share my birthday (June 14th). Here are some of the pics from yesterday. Hope you enjoy!

The Evil Plan!!!!!!!
To begin, I must Devour The Chosen One. This will cause the world to Swallow nervously, Terrified by my arrival. Who is this Bloodthirsty Warlord? Where did he come from? And why dose he look so good in Another person's skin?
Next, I must Vaporize the moon. This will all be done from my Abandoned Church, a mysterious place of unrivaled dark glory. Upon seeing this, the world will Gibber like madmen, as countless hordes of The Undead hasten to do my every bidding.
Finally, I must Unleash My Unholy Weapon, bringing about An end to sanity. My name shall become synonymous with Horror, and no man will ever again dare interrupt my sentences. Everyone will bow before my Supreme Might, and the world will have no choice but to Erect a gigantic statue of me.

Meet the Zoo
When I first fell in love with Jake, I had no idea what kind of family I was getting myself into. When Jake finally introduced me to the darlings in his life, I was taken aback. I, never having been raised with dogs before, was quite unsure of what to expect with two very active and very spoiled girls. But, they stole my heart quicker than even Jake had. They are the most adorable little things in my life. They are named Zero, she is the dark one; and Iris, who is the black and white dog. I also inherited two cats, Pedro and Poncho, both very eccentric and stubborn. We added to the family shortly after with one tarantula, Madeline a rose-hair, and two rats, Libby and Nyla. Nyla has since passed on, to be replaced by Molly (a.k.a. Cujo). We have also added two more tarantulas Charolette, a Mexican Red-Knee, and Helga, a Starburst Baboon. We will try to get pictures of them all, but Helga is a recluse.
The Hamblins
Today we decided to share our lives through blogging. Ash and I met at Olive Garden on Super Bowl Sunday three years ago. My friend Bub asked our server if he could get the girl's number that ran our food. I had no clue he was intending that number for me. I was pleasantly suprised and was eager to meet Ash. Our first rendezvous was short lived, however. Later on that year we became inseperable. We are not yet the Hamblins but soon will be on October ninth which is our wedding day. By the way we shop at the Gap.
